IMMUNITY THROUGH YOGA WORKSHOP March 11th
The workship lasts for 3 hours, but the time goes by fast. The workshop will open with gentle stretches and movements for circulation in the joints with Indira, and then Jeanie will teach a 1/2 an hour well designed sequence that will get your pulse going and your breath rythmic, for optimal heart and lymphatic health. Then we’ll use a series of poses to target specific organs that increase immunity health. Last we will end with a restorative sequence that will re-set your nervous system and allow for a deep rest that you cannot get enough of!
This workshop is good for anyone who wants to improve their health. It will be co-taught with Indira Kuckreja, who you can read about on her website http://embody-you.com/index.htm. We will be teaming up together to help you enhance your practice and build greater chi(energy). You will go away from the workship knowing poses that stimulate organ function and circulation; a sequence to encourage the immune response in the body; the importance of increasing the heart rate for better immunity; and why deep relaxation and restoration at the cellular level are critical in building immunity.
